In the previous part of the series, we did set up a development environment for WordPress and installed all the necessary plugins required to help us with our theme development efforts.
Additionally, we edited wp-config.php enabling the debug mode in the WordPress core. With that done, it’s important we have the right tools to aid us when working on our project, check for errors and see to it that we are conforming to WordPress coding standards.
